Summit Fire & Security Expands Pacific Northwest Presence with Acquisition of Commercial Fire Protection and Commercial Alarm & Detection
RENO, NEVADA – Summit Fire & Security LLC, a subsidiary of SFP Holding, Inc. (Summit Companies), announced the acquisition of Commercial Fire Protection and Commercial Alarm & Detection in Mount Vernon, Washington by its Performance Systems Integration subsidiary effective June 3, 2026. The transaction was structured as a purchase of substantially all of the assets of Commercial Fire Protection, Inc. and Commercial Alarm & Detection, Inc. by Performance Systems Integration, LLC.
Commercial Fire Protection and Commercial Alarm & Detection have built a longstanding reputation for protecting businesses, properties, and communities throughout the North Puget Sound region. The family-owned companies are led by brothers Eric Sigmen and Roger Sigmen, who have continued the organization’s commitment to quality service, integrity, and customer care.
Founded in the late 1980s, Commercial Fire Protection has served customers across Washington’s Whatcom, Skagit, Island, San Juan, and Snohomish counties with inspections, testing, maintenance, and repair services for fire sprinkler systems, fire extinguishers, and other fire suppression systems. Commercial Alarm & Detection expanded the organization’s capabilities by installing, servicing, and monitoring fire alarm systems and security systems.

This transition also expands the range of services available to customers, including fire sprinklers, fire detection and alarm systems, security alarms, access control systems, alarm monitoring, fire extinguishers, and special hazard fire suppression systems to meet a wide variety of needs.
